About the Role

**Flexible Working Arrangements:**
2 days per week (Monday mandatory) - Flexible allocation of hours

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and accounts
- Process payroll, including inputting annual leave, sick leave, and other relevant data
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Generate and analyze financial reports
- Handle superannuation lodgement

Office Administration:
- Assist with project administration, including updating project hours and costings weekly, and creating new projects
- Manage vehicle-related tasks such as registration renewals and insurance renewals
- Collect and organize photos from team members for social media promotion
- Handle uniform orders and inventory
- Monitor the inbox for service calls and respond or direct as needed
- Provide administrative support to the Director
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration
- Proficiency in Xero, Intuit Quickbooks and Microsoft Suite
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take initiative

Requirements

  • Min 2 years experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role or have completed or are currently completing your Bookkeeping qualification

  • XERO Experience

  • Quickbooks Time (Previously TSheets) Experience Highly Regarded

  • Self motivated

  • Attention to detail
